As an employee of the Federation, the Junior Administrative Assistant will take direction from and report directly to the General Manager and Administrative Assistant. The Junior Administrative Assistant will strive to be cognizant of, and deal with membership needs.
DUTIES
Co-ordinate and perform all clerical activities of the Federation as directed by the Administrative Assistant and General Manager.
Co-ordinate and perform all approved fund-raising activities of, and for the Federation.
Duties as assigned by the General Manager and Administrative Assistant including acting as secretary/receptionist for the Federation Head Office.
BASIC ROLE – as an employee of the Federation, the Junior Administrative Assistant will take direction from the General Manager, and act as Assistant to the Administrative Assistant in handling the day-to-day operation and administrative duties of the head office. Including emails, printing, proofreading, processing payments, data entry, filing, shipping, processing mail and faxes as well as phone calls and voicemails.

The Ontario Fur Managers Federation (OFMF) is seeking applications for the full time position of Junior Administrative Assistant in the OFMF head office in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.
The Federation was incorporated in 1995 and has had a business agreement and relationship with the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) since 1997.
The successful candidate will possess the qualities of a team player with strong work ethics, as well as a dedication to the Federation and its members. The successful applicant will possess and demonstrate exceptional communications skills,
as well as administration qualities and computer skills. Completion of and a High School diploma of Grade 12 is the minimum requirement that would be considered.
Preference will be given to Post Secondary Graduates. It is mandatory that any permanent OFMF employee has to successfully complete the Fur Harvest, Fur Management and Conservation course when next being offered.
