Junior Architectural Technologist At Sterling Homes, our people make the difference. Reporting to the Production Manager, as the Junior Architectural Technologist you will create designs and drawings to facilitate the construction of new homes. You also provide technical information and knowledge that supports profitable business decisions.

Understanding and ensuring architectural and structural requirements, elements, building codes and by-laws are followed. Applying for building permits. Preparing and submitting drawings to engineering consultants for structural certification and/or applying for architectural approval from the developer’s consultant.

Diploma or certificate in Architectural Technology. Comfortable using, Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and AutoCad and Revit.



Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.

Drafting and design experience in the residential construction industry is an asset. Staying current with technical job skills. You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
