Vedder Steel is a family owned and operated Steel Fabrication shop that has been in briskness for 45 years. VSL is looking to hire a permeant junior drafter.

Responsibilities

- Create detailed 2D animations and drawings based on specifications provided by engineers and designers
- Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine concepts and designs
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Review and revise drawings as necessary based on feedback from the design team
- Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and related materials

Requirements:
- Proficiency in 2D animation software and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Animate)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications




- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing standards

Note: Experience in building or construction industry is a plus, but not required. Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
