Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and dedicated KINESIOLOGIST/ATHLETIC THERAPIST to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, and other physical health concerns. Your energetic approach will help patients recover faster, improve their mobility, and regain their strength.

Fluency in both English and French is highly valued to serve a diverse patient population effectively. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment that values innovation, compassion, and excellence.

Duties

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions using medical terminology and clinical analysis skills.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to optimize recovery.
- Maintain detailed electronic medical records (EMRs) to document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Administer medications or assist with medication management as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safe medication administration practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, physiotherapists, and other specialists to coordinate case management strategies.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health goals.
- Utilize computer skills and software such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint,



Excel) and Outlook for documentation, scheduling, and communication purposes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kinesiology or Athletic Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification or licensure as a Kinesiologist or Athletic Therapist; registration with relevant professional bodies preferred.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings or acute care environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and medication administration procedures.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while demonstrating time management expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), electronic medical records systems, and general computer operation skills.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus; familiarity with customer service principles enhances patient interactions.
- Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly; strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient education.
