C Market Coffee is an innovative boutique roastery café serving specialty coffee alongside fresh, high-quality food and baked goods.

We are hiring Kitchen Hands and Bar Assistants for our new location near Burrard Station, opening in October.

Both experienced and entry-level applicants are welcome, and full training will be provided. We are looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated team members who are excited to help set up, organize, and grow a new café from the beginning.

Important Pre-Opening Information

Our new location is not yet open. Interviews and pre-opening training will take place at our existing Main Street or Coquitlam location.

During the 2–3 weeks of pre-opening training, you may be required to commute to either location. Please apply only if this temporary training arrangement works for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation while maintaining quality and food-safety standards
- Prepare and serve beverages and food efficiently
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system
- Handle cash transactions, refunds, and end-of-shift cash balancing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, bar, and dining areas
- Monitor inventory levels and restock ingredients, packaging, and other supplies
- Follow proper food-handling, storage, sanitation,



and hygiene procedures
- Support teammates wherever needed to help daily operations run smoothly

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, café, or food-service experience is an asset but not required
- Friendly and positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Solid attention to detail and good time-management skills
- Basic math skills for payment processing and inventory counting
- Knowledge of food-safety practices is an asset
- Barista, bartending, or serving experience is a plus but not required

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
