Duties

- Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients for meal service
- Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring food is prepared according to safety standards and recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety regulations
- Help with food handling tasks such as storing ingredients properly and rotating stock to minimize waste
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures




- Contribute to a positive team workplace by communicating effectively and supporting kitchen operations during busy hours

Skills

- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to grow in the food industry is essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving supplies
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety regulations, and kitchen equipment is a plus
