Working as a team member under the direct supervision of the Landscape Foreman, you will be part of a landscaping team performing landscape jobs throughout the Fredericton area. This is a physically demanding position that requires moving, kneeling, crouching, or crawling with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The ability to operate various pieces of machinery such as skidsteer, mini-excavator, loader, forklift is an asset.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, detailed oriented and performs well as part of a team. The successful candidate must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle to travel to various properties in the City.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles.
- Perform grounds-keeping and building maintenance duties.
- Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
-Operate various hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, drills, and saws to carry out landscaping tasks efficiently.
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
- Rake, mulch, and prune as needed.
- Water plants and grass as needed and apply any required fertilizer.
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.5 per week
