- Install, assemble, and modify commercial HVAC duct systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings
- Complete installations according to code and project requirements
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, apprentices, and other trades
- Mentor apprentices and support team development
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work workplace
- Accurately report progress and communicate project needs
- Help identify solutions to field challenges
- Contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker Certificate
- Commercial HVAC installation experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Clean driver's abstract considered an asset
