Legal Assistant – Plaintiff Personal Injury Law

Glowinsky Law is seeking a Legal Assistant with approximately 1–3 years of experience in Plaintiff personal injury law to join our team.

Experience with tort claims, motor vehicle accidents, accident benefits, dog bites, falls, long-term disability benefits denials, and related personal injury matters is preferred.

Qualifications

- Completion of a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program
- Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience
- Minimum 1 year of Ontario Plaintiff personal injury experience
- In-depth understanding of personal injury law and legal terminology
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure
- Solid computer and typing skills (55+ WPM)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and digital dictation




- Experience with PCLaw, Primafact, ACL, Tracument, Filevine, or similar legal technology is an asset

Responsibilities

- Manage administrative duties, including email and calendar management, meeting coordination, scanning, and circulation of mail
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence under the supervision of lawyers, using precedents and instructions
- Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic files
- Transcribe digital dictation as required
- Coordinate with and delegate tasks to other administrative departments
- Provide backup coverage for team members when required
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned

Salary: $36,830.02–$64,827.17 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
