We are seeking a highly motivated LIM & Power Rail Project Engineering Specialist, to support the delivery of LIM and Power Rail installation on the Surrey Langley Skytrain extension project. This role requires strong coordination skills, with active collaboration across the Construction, Quality, Safety, Engineer of Record (EOR), and Design Support teams to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and safe execution.

Site Coordination: Oversee daily special trackwork installation activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedules, and technical requirements.

Technical Support: Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data; provide guidance to site crews.

Quality Collaboration: Work with the Quality team to implement inspection and test plans (ITPs). Participate in joint inspections and ensure compliance with design tolerances and material specifications. Coordinate with the EOR to clarify design intent, resolve technical queries, and approve field changes.

Work with the Design Support team to address constructability issues, review shop drawings, and incorporate design updates into field execution. Track work progress, prepare daily site reports, and escalate potential risks or delays. Identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges in collaboration with relevant teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).

Experience in railway trackwork or heavy civil infrastructure projects, including solid understanding of track geometry, alignment, and construction tolerances. Familiarity with railway safety standards, quality management systems, and design review processes.



Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Quality, Safety, EOR, and Design Support.
