The ideal candidate for this position is friendly, detail oriented, and able to handle the physical demands of the job. A successful candidate will be required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays but specifically closing shifts, evening and weekend availability will be preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Customer service including greeting guests as they enter the store and assisting them in finding a product that suits their tastes and budget
- Cleaning and maintaining the overall appearance of the store
- Receiving and putting away orders
- Stocking products on the shelves
- Accurately processing transactions and completing daily cash out
- Adhering to protocol in regard to ID regulations in the liquor industry
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

- Have a good knowledge of wines (especially BC wines), liquor & beer products
- Previous liquor store experience would be an asset
- Cashier experience, record of accurate billing and cash out procedures




- Knowledge of Barnet POS system an asset
- Be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 40-45lbs boxes
- Must hold a valid Serving It Right™ Certificate
- Required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
