Become a vital part of our family practice in Kelowna as a long-term locum Family Physician. This position blends in-clinic and telehealth responsibilities, with ample opportunities for community engagement beyond the clinic. Our clinic seeks a rotating locum for a general family practice, including maternity care and support for hospital deliveries at Kelowna General Hospital.

The physician will work 2.5 clinic days per week, supporting 8 doctors in a collaborative environment. Essential skills include clinical prenatal visits and comfort with various roles, from precepting to surgical assisting. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive family care using telehealth and in-clinic visits
- Conduct prenatal care and manage maternity cases at the hospital




- Engage with medical students and Family Practice Residents as a preceptor
- Participate in community opportunities and special teams like SART

Requirements:

- Licensed Family Physician in British Columbia
- Experience in clinical prenatal visits preferred
- Willingness to cover calls (approximately 1 in 8)
- Proficient in both in-person and telehealth care
