About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:
- Prepare shipping packages and documents for next-day deliveries;
- Coordinate the activities of drivers and maintenance workers when reviewing trailer repairs;
- Call customers to confirm next-day deliveries and notify them when pickup orders are ready;
- Update load sheets with confirmed and rescheduled deliveries, inform all relevant parties, and document all communication in LSS;
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the Dispatch Schedule and assigned trailers;
- Prepare documents,
serve customers, and contact yard staff for order pickups;
- Monitor loaded trailers;
- Assist drivers and resolve issues as they arise;
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
About You - The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a logistics position;
- A diploma in logistics or a related field preferred;
- Experience in similar industries (manufacturing/construction);
- Solutions oriented and able to provide exceptional customer service;
- Experience with Sage/ASA is an asset;
- Knowledge of Excel and able to work in a Google environment;
- Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure.
What we offer
- The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $66,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
