Summary The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day warehouse and transportation operations by ensuring the accurate flow of goods, documentation, and system updates. This position is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound activities, maintaining data accuracy across systems, updating tracker to ensure daily operations runs smoothly and supporting communication between delivery teams, internal departments, and clients.
This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage high-volume workflows, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and dispatching freight at pre-determined distribution centers
- Assisting drivers with delivery challenges and communicating changes to service requirements
- Supporting operations management to implement programs and policies to bring efficiencies, reduce costs and improve the customer service experience
- Generating and maintaining reports and other documents to monitor and track service delivery performance and on-time-delivery performance
- BOL Tracking and creations for outbound and inbound trailers
- Communicate with the floor team with receiving inbound and loading outbound trailers
- Maintain strong working relationships with carriers and clients by responding to all inquiries and complaints
Education
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent business administration experience is preferred.
Experience
- Related logistics experience would be an asset
