Job Overview

We are looking for an LTL Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight operations, including pickups, deliveries, and the movement of multiple shipments across Canada and the United States.

You will work closely with drivers, customers, carriers, and the operations team to ensure freight is dispatched efficiently, shipments are properly coordinated, and service commitments are met.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and dispatch LTL freight movements across Canada and the United States
- Plan and coordinate pickups and deliveries involving multiple shipments and stops
- Monitor, track, and trace shipments and provide timely status updates
- Communicate with drivers, customers, carriers, terminals, and the operations team




- Ensure shipment and load information is entered accurately into the system
- Coordinate schedules and respond to changes, delays, and operational issues in real time
- Identify and resolve potential service or documentation issues before they escalate
- Assist with margin tracking, data entry, and general brokerage and operational support
- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
- Provide professional customer service throughout the shipping process
- Support the Operations Manager in maintaining effective and on-time service

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or a related field
- Previous LTL dispatch experience is an asset
- Good understanding of freight transportation and dispatch operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly respond to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer-focused approach and ability to maintain professional relationships with customers, carriers, and drivers
- Comfortable working with transportation management systems and data entry

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
