Take 5 Oil Change is looking for reliable and hardworking Lube Technicians to join our Bradford team.
We are hiring for both upper-bay and lower-bay (pit) technician positions. Depending on your experience and training, you may work in either area of the shop. Previous automotive experience is an asset, but we are also willing to train the right candidate.
What You'll Do
As a Lube Technician, you will help provide fast, friendly, and professional vehicle maintenance services to our customers.
Responsibilities may include:
- Performing oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance
- Draining engine oil and replacing oil filters
- Checking and topping up vehicle fluids
- Checking tire pressures
- Inspecting air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and other maintenance items
- Performing upper-bay or lower-bay service procedures
- Checking vehicles for leaks or visible maintenance concerns
- Communicating with other technicians throughout the service
- Following proper safety procedures and Take 5 service standards
- Keeping the shop, bays, and work areas clean and organized
- Assisting customers and other team members when required
What We're Looking For
- Automotive, mechanical, or quick-lube experience is an asset
- Basic knowledge of vehicles is preferred
- Comfortable working above and underneath vehicles
- Willing to learn both upper-bay and lower-bay positions
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
