Pentagon Manufacturing is currently seeking skilled and experienced Machine Operators to carry out various tasks in our busy plant. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical experience, some computerized numerical saw experience , and excellent communication skills. The successful applicants will be responsible for operating production line equipment and reporting any issues with equipment/materials directly to Production Manager.

Job Duties
- Feed raw materials into production machinery
- Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
- Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
- Preform preventative maintenance on equipment(including calibrations)
- Monitor the production process
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks
- You’ll usually work as part of a team under the supervision of a lead hand, carrying out a single or several tasks within the same shift.
Skills
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2+ years’ experience working in a production facility, preferably as a machine operator
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- good practical skills
- the ability to work quickly and methodically
- the ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks
- the ability to follow instructions
- High mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of PM programs
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Flexibility and availability for OT when required
