Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge, CNC programming, and blueprint reading will be essential to ensure high-quality production standards.

The ideal candidate is passionate about machining, skilled in using hand tools and power tools, and committed to continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles. Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines using programming languages like Mazatrol and Fanuc.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software to produce accurate components.
- Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Adjust machine settings based on measurements, blueprint specifications,



or quality feedback to achieve desired tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety protocols; operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift as needed for assembly or material handling.
- Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall production flow.

Skills

- Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as Mazatrol and Fanuc.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes including CNC lathe and CNC milling operations.
- Ability to read complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models accurately.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software for design interpretation.
- Skilled in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine adjustments.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely for material handling purposes.
