We are seeking a motivated Junior Electrician to join our dynamic team in Scarborough.

Position Overview:

The Junior Electrician will assist in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems within our food processing and packaging facility. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious, eager to learn, and have a passion for electrical systems in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national codes.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and other equipment used in food processing and packaging.




- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safe and productive operations of all electrical systems.
- Support senior electricians in projects and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of repairs and installations.
- Follow safety protocols and food safety standards in all work activities.

Qualifications:

- Valid 309A Certification is a must.
- 1-2 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (food processing experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including reading blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
