Duties

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines, outboard motors, and small engines used in various recreational and commercial applications
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble engine components with precision
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and system calibrations
- Keep detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules for each engine




- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on marine or small engines
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for detailed repairs
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a workshop setting
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose engine issues accurately
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality repairs and maintenance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with engine diagnostics or certifications related to marine or small engine repair is preferred but not required
