In this role, you will empower students to excel academically by providing personalized tutoring sessions that foster confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. This is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful impact while sharing your expertise in STEM subjects.

Duties

- Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in high school-level math and physics, tailored to each student’s learning style and needs
- Assess students’ current understanding and develop customized lesson plans to address gaps and reinforce key concepts
- Support students with homework, test preparation, and project work to improve their academic performance
- Utilize effective teaching techniques, including visual aids, digital tools, and real-world examples to clarify complex topics
- Track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians as appropriate
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages questions, exploration,



and confidence-building
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, or educational specialists when necessary to support student success

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children or teenagers in an educational or tutoring setting
- Strong knowledge of high school mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus) and physics concepts
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to explain difficult topics clearly and patiently
- Familiarity with classroom teaching techniques and educational software or digital tools
- Basic computer skills for scheduling sessions, tracking progress, and utilizing online resources
- Experience with special education needs or adapting lessons for diverse learners is a plus
- Background in computer science or related STEM fields is desirable but not required
