Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Repair and maintain vehicles or machinery utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to handle large parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance procedures
- Follow detailed maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately assemble or disassemble components
- Utilize welding skills for structural repairs or custom modifications as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair or machinery maintenance
- Dealership experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with brand-specific systems and protocols
- Proficiency in welding, schematics reading, and assembly work
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting methods
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
