We are actively seeking a full time Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

As Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks, equipment, and machinery. Your primary duties will include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance to ensure the safe and productive operation of our vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect, service, diagnose, repair and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including (but not limited to) earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, heavy duty diesel trucks, farm tractors, sod harvesters and various farm and landscape implements.




- Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment according to maintenance schedules
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a diesel mechanic certification program or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks, equipment, and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
