The Mechanical Shift

Leader plays a vital role at Magna, overseeing production and maintenance activities. With a solid working knowledge of shop floor operations, you'll assist in training Trade Co-op Students and Journeyman. This position demands effective organization, coordination of maintenance activities, and adherence to quality standards while promoting an environmentally responsible approach. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure production support and assigned work is completed efficiently
- Train Trade Co-op Students, Apprentices, and Journeyman




- Organize and coordinate maintenance employee activities
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and system improvements
- Safely operate materials handling equipment like forklifts

Requirements:

- Grade 12 Education or GED
- Certificate of Qualification Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Millwright
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Karmax Software
- Must communicate effectively with team members
