As Medical
Director, you will work closely with the UPCC Manager and multiple stakeholders, including Executive Medical Directors and Nursing and Allied Health teams.
Your role entails not just administrative responsibilities but also direct involvement in clinical services, ensuring quality care for the community. You are expected to deliver clinical services for at least four hours weekly in addition to administrative duties. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Rutland Health Centre UPCC Manager
- Provide clinical services under the Group Clinical Service Contract
- Engage with diverse healthcare professionals for optimized patient care
- Ensure alignment with local health administration
- Contribute to physician recruitment and training initiatives
Requirements:
- Current CPSBC License for medical practice in BC
- Membership with Canadian Medical Protective Association
- Strong team-oriented and leadership skills
- Experience in urgent and primary care settings
- Commitment to community health improvement
