The Gateway Team-Based Care Teaching Clinic at UBC is looking for a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our growing interprofessional team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MOA who enjoys working collaboratively, values person-centred care, and is interested in helping shape new approaches to team-based primary care and health professions education.

At Gateway, our MOAs are an important part of the care team. The role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities, including supporting patient flow, coordinating care, working within the electronic medical record, supporting clinical procedures and point-of-care testing, and collaborating closely with patients, clinicians, staff, and learners.

As a new teaching clinic, we are also looking for someone who is adaptable, curious, and interested in helping us develop, evaluate, and continuously improve how we deliver care and support learning.

UBC Vancouver Campus

Position: Full-time, fixed term
