Hutchison Heart is a cardiology practice led by Dr. Stuart Hutchison. We are urgently hiring an experienced Medical Office Assistant to support daily clinic operations and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients and manage check‑in
- Update patient information in EMR (Ava experience an asset)
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records
- Process referrals and incoming faxes
- Answer and triage phone calls; document all interactions
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness
- Assist with BP readings, ECGs, and diagnostic requisitions
- Chart preparation, medication updates, and billing support

Requirements

- 1+ year medical office experience
- MOA certification or equivalent training
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology; cardiology experience an asset
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Schedule

- Monday–Friday
- 8‑hour shift (8:30–5:00 or 9:00–5:30)
- 30‑minute lunch break

Pay:



$21.50-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Licence/Certification:
