- Participate actively in solving problems related to mechanical systems (troubleshooting).
- Write functional test procedures for various mechanical systems and identify the tools required to execute.
- Review and incorporation of engineering requirements.
- Plan and implement changes in production.
- Support and optimize daily production operations.
- You will also have to investigate the technical issues and find solutions for the aircraft from preflight until delivery to the customer.
- You will answer the technical questions of Methods, Quality and Production departments.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a college degree in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in aviation.
- Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems is essential.
- You must have a robust sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative and a good technical judgment.
- You must be able to work under minimum supervision.
- Bilingualism (French & English) and strong organizational and communication skills are also essential.
- You have a strong customer focus.
- Knowledge of SAP, Macpac, Quicksilver is an asset.
- Knowledge of Challenger products is an important asset.
