About the Role

Encore Auctions is seeking an experienced Night Shift Warehouse Manager to lead our night shift team and oversee warehouse operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the shift runs safely, efficiently, and productively. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment and holding the team accountable for performance, attendance, safety, and operational expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff and team leads.
- Assign work and manage workflow based on daily operational priorities.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Coach employees and address performance, attendance, and workplace concerns.
- Support the training and onboarding of new employees.
- Oversee the movement, storage, and organization of inventory.
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse floor.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
- Enforce company health and safety policies and safe work practices.
- Address workplace hazards and support incident investigations.
- Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance when required.
- Maintain clear communication with leadership and ensure a smooth transition between shifts.

Qualifications





- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations.
- Previous warehouse leadership or management experience required.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
- Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements and safe equipment operation.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Forklift knowledge or experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs as required.
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends & overtime based on business needs.
