Barber Collins security is looking for a full time Security Guard to work at a NSOC as a national dispatch operator.
Shifts
Week 1 (32 hours): Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
Week 2 (16 hours): Monday and Tuesday from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
These hours are non-negotiable.
- Every other weekend
- 48 hours every 2 week
- Night shift
Responsibilities:
- Protect company’s properties and staff by overseeing an international CCTV monitoring system.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences. This would require video retention, conduct alarm audits and access control audits.
- Monitor and control clients BAS alarm system and fire panel.
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Follow corresponding duties require by the international alarm/access control for the facility/area.
- Communicate regularly and directly with the client and the tenants internationally.
- Able to conduct appropriate emergency escalations and communications.
- Perform any other SOC duties required.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability,
particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.
