Canadian Jerky is a professional pet food manufacturer based in South Surrey, British Columbia. Founded in 2016, our mission is to provide premium-quality, naturally nutritious, healthy and tasty pet food and pet treats that are proudly made in Canada.

We offer three main product lines: soft treats, one-ingredient jerky, and air-dried foods, with daily production capacity of up to 20 tons.

Our 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility is equipped with advanced food-processing equipment sourced from Canada, the United States and Germany. We also operate a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in Toronto and a warehousing and freight centre in Blaine, Washington.

As our OEM business continues to grow across North America, we are looking for an OEM Sales Specialist to join our team and support the day-to-day management and coordination of OEM customer projects.

Position Summary The OEM Sales Specialist will support the execution and coordination of OEM business projects from customer order through product development, production and delivery.

This role will serve as an important communication link between our OEM customers and internal teams, including Sales, R&D;, QA, Production, Purchasing and Logistics.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive, with strong follow-up and communication skills. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time and taking ownership of tasks from beginning to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in OEM, manufacturing, food, pet food, consumer products, B2B sales support, customer service, order management or project coordination who wants to grow with a growing Canadian manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

OEM Quotation & Order Management

- Support the preparation of OEM quotations based on customer requirements and company pricing guidelines.
- Collect, organize and maintain customer product specifications, packaging requirements and related documentation.
- Receive and review customer orders to ensure all information is accurate and complete.




- Coordinate orders from confirmation through production scheduling, shipment and final delivery.
- Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
- Follow up on product specifications, packaging changes and other customer-requested updates.
- Identify order-related issues and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve them promptly.

Sample & Project Coordination
- Coordinate OEM sample requests, including sample preparation, shipment, tracking and customer feedback.
- Support new product development and existing product improvement projects.
- Maintain project tracking sheets and follow up on key milestones and deadlines.
- Proactively identify potential delays, project risks and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with R&D;, QA, Production, Purchasing, Logistics and other departments to keep projects moving forward.
- Follow up on outstanding action items until completion.

Customer & Internal Communication
- Act as an important communication point between OEM customers and internal teams.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, samples, product information, lead times and project status.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with OEM customers.
- Ensure customer requirements are communicated accurately and followed through internally.
- Coordinate cross-functional issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate customer information, project records and business documentation.

Data & Documentation
- Organize and maintain quotations, orders, contracts, product specifications, project documents and other OEM-related records.
- Maintain accurate information in internal systems and databases.
- Prepare sales, customer and project tracking reports.




- Assist with data collection and analysis to support business decisions and project management.
- Ensure OEM documentation is accurate, organized and easy to track.

Sales & Business Support
- Support the Sales Operations Manager in improving OEM processes and developing standardized procedures.
- Support the Sales team with customer development, meetings and business development activities.
- Assist with customer visits, trade shows and post-show follow-up.
- Participate in customer meetings and prepare meeting notes and action items.
- Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure completion.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–3+ years of experience in B2B sales support, account coordination, customer service, order management, project coordination or a related field.
- Experience with OEM, manufacturing, food, pet food, consumer products or other related industries is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate independently with North American customers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders, specifications and documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing workplace is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and business data.
- Strong follow-up skills and a proactive, ownership-oriented approach.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Reliable, responsible and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
