An enthusiastic and dedicated individual is required for an Office Services Concierge/Administrative Assistant at our Halifax office. The successful candidate will work in a professional environment providing support to the office, planning in-office internal and client events and execution thereof, fulfilling catering requests and covering for reception, as directed by the Office Manager
What you will do
Event and Meeting Support
- Coordinate and deliver exceptional in-office and client events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Manage room setup, catering, refreshments, and event logistics.
- Provide basic A/V support for internal and client meetings (training provided).
- Serve as the primary contact for catering and hospitality vendors.
- Ensure meeting and event spaces are prepared before and restored afterward.
Office Operations
- Set up and maintain meeting rooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies, refreshments, and first aid kits
- Support general administrative tasks, including inventory management, printing, scanning, and invoice processing
- Provide backup support to reception and assist with other office operations as needed.

- A proactive, hands-on approach and a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in hospitality, conference services, event coordination,
customer service, or a similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
- Comfort learning and using basic A/V technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is an asset.
- Reliability, flexibility, and availability to work occasional mornings, evenings, or special events as required.
Additional Information
- A uniform is required and will be provided (black attire).
- Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required to support meetings and events.
