About the Role: Ace Tank Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Onsite Wastewater Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of residential and commercial septic systems. This position requires a mix of technical field skills and the ability to produce accurate digital reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements on various septic systems.
- Diagnostics: Troubleshoot system issues, diagnose failures, and recommend solutions.
- Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of septic components, including pipe camera inspections to identify blockages or structural issues.
- Cleaning: Perform pipe cleaning and system flushing as required.
- Installations: Execute pump replacements and other component upgrades.
- Compliance: Ensure all work meets regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Create detailed job notes and service reports for every site visit.
- Compile site photos and data into professional reports for clients and internal records.
- Utilize computer software and mobile devices effectively to manage workflow and documentation.
Physical Requirements & Schedule:
- Heavy Lifting: Must be able to physically lift and maneuver heavy equipment, pumps, and lids (up to 50+ lbs) regularly.
- Variable Hours: This position is work-dependent; expect between 35 to 55 hours per week. Flexibility is required to meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Solid mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with computers and mobile tablets; ability to type clearly and format photos/information.
- Strong written communication skills for creating reports.
- Valid Driver’s License.
