We are seeking an experienced

Open Liberty Architect to design and architect enterprise applications using

Open Liberty/WebSphere Liberty

. The role will focus on application modernization, migration from traditional

WebSphere Application Server (WAS) to Open Liberty

, cloud-native microservices, and scalable enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect enterprise applications using

Open Liberty/WebSphere Liberty

.

- Lead

WAS-to-Open Liberty migration and modernization initiatives.

- Develop cloud-native microservices using

Java, Spring Boot, Jakarta EE

, and Open Liberty.

- Define application architecture, deployment strategies, and integration patterns.

- Implement

CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

.

- Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.

- Conduct architecture and design reviews.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize application environments.





- Create architecture documentation, technical standards, and governance frameworks.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

Requirements

- Strong experience with

Open Liberty / WebSphere Liberty

.

- Robust knowledge of

IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)

.

- Hands-on experience with

WAS-to-Open Liberty migration/modernization

.

- Strong

Java, Spring Boot, Jakarta EE/Java EE experience.

- Experience designing microservices and enterprise applications

.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD, and DevOps

.

- Strong understanding of application integration and deployment strategies.

- Experience with scalability, high availability, security, and performance optimization

.

- Strong architecture, documentation, communication, and technical leadership skills.
