Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop assigned accounts to meet growth and profitability objectives.
- Lead, support, and motivate team members to ensure high productivity and operational excellence.
- Liaise with carriers and vendors to ensure services align with agreements and compliance standards.
- Develop and analyze methods and systems (TMS) to establish and improve service levels.
- Monitor shipments using track and trace tools and provide accurate internal quotations.
- Negotiate with carriers to add capacity and secure better rates in required markets.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and manage accruals in line with company guidelines.
- Uphold company policies, including health, safety, and quality standards (ISO 9001/45001).
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisor or team lead role.
- At least 6 years of experience in the international transportation industry.
- A College Diploma or University Degree in Business, Logistics, or International Trade.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to create collaborative engagements.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- The ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with TMS software.
- CIFFA certification is considered a strong asset.
