Pay Rate: $18.45/HR

Shift: Days: 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM

About the Role

The operator role involves performing job rotation to all areas of the facility; This means processing and preparing recycled containers. Duties include; loading and unloading an industrial dishwasher, Intake of dirty containers, emptying and sorting them, labelling, sticker removal, scanning, packing. This position reports to the Shift Lead.

Key Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading dirty/clean product into and out of an industrial dishwasher
- Job rotation to all areas: Scan, wash, and dry returned (dirty) products
- Sort products at Intake based on size, scan into box, and package
- Label new inventory and repackage into box
- Prepare orders and organize inventory
- Clean work area daily including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces
- Duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Able to take initiative and work individually.
- Able to work within a team environment.
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures.
- Able to adapt to varying responsibilities.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Secondary school diploma.

Working Conditions
- The facility can be subject to temperature fluctuations.

Physical Requirements
- Strength Guidelines

- Must be able to lift 30lb boxes.
- At times, must be able to work in hot, humid conditions.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination. Testing will be required.
- Motion parameters.
- Must be able to stand throughout an 8 hour shift involving twisting, and lifting.
- Vision and Hearing Requirements
- May be required to use a computer or tablet throughout the shift.
- Psychological Demands
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
