Scheller Metal Fabricators Ltd. is seeking experienced candidates to fill the position of Painter/Prepper. We are looking for people that want a long-term career and are excited to grow with the company. You are best suited for this position if you are hardworking, motivated, reliable, and competent. The job duties include prepping and painting of Hydrovac components, like tank frames, tanks, cabinets, etc. You will be part of a great team in the paint shop.

Job Duties

- Masking, taping, sanding, and cleaning of surfaces
- Prepare items for application of protective coatings
- Assisting to load and unload paint booth
- Painting of various components by using protective coatings
- Use of air tools such as orbital sanders, air-guns, die grinders, etc.
- Meeting quality standards on a consistent basis

Schedule

- Monday to Thursday
- 10-hour Shift; Day Shift

PLEASE NOTE: Reliable transportation is required as we are not accessible by public transportation. Please respond with your Painter/Prepper experience, availability, and contact information if you are interested in this position.

Salary: $23.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Additional Experience

- Sandblasting experience an asset
