Empower children at the YMCA St. Nicholas in Barrie as a part time Assistant Teacher. Engage in play-based learning and ensure a safe environment for kids aged 6-12. In this rewarding role, you will support children in the YMCA Before & After School Program.

You will offer personal care, implement learning activities, and provide inclusive support for all children, including those with special needs. Building strong relationships with families and staff is essential to create a nurturing community. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care, including toileting and first aid
- Supervise and engage with children in a group setting
- Plan and implement play-based learning activities
- Communicate professionally with families and staff
- Support children's diverse needs and behaviors

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years or older
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Availability for split shifts, Monday to Friday
- Passion for quality play-based learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
