All About Care is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Health Care Aide for client in NW Calgary. The client MUST have a Hungarian or Romanian speaking caregiver - looking for visits on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00am - 1:00pm every week. We also have other clients looking for amazing staff support as well!

Position: Health Care Aide

Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and grooming
- Provide support with mobility and transfer assistance; assist clients with mobility aids
- Offer companionship and engage in friendly conversations to enhance the client's well-being
- Prepare meals and assist with nutritional needs
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with transferring - 1 person assist with pivot or sit-to-stand transfers
- Ensure the overall comfort and safety of the client during your visits

Requirements:

- Health Care Aide certification (MUST be registered with the Alberta HCA Directory)
- Previous experience working with seniors, especially those with dementia
- Adaptable availability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
