Part-Time Florist & Shop Care Attendant

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role blends customer service with daily shop operations—including processing flowers, prepping orders, potting plants, and maintaining a clean, welcoming studio.

What We Are Looking For:

- Attributes: Upbeat, professional, efficient, and self-motivated with strong computer skills and a high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Physically Active: Comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Team Player: Works well under pressure in a busy, collaborative environment while staying focused on the task at hand.
- Flexibility: Open availability to work versatile shifts,



as our studio is open 7 days a week.
- 3+ years proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

Job Responsibilities:

- Consistently create floral designs incorporating effective and innovative use of colours, floral materials, vessels and accent materials while meeting established criteria for Swish design styles and cost of goods in a studio environment
- Apply proper flower handling fundamental techniques
- Successfully interpret clients’ wishes on custom design orders
- Contribute to shop care - sweeping, cleaning buckets, cleaning of cooler, stocking store floor and unpacking new product
- Work effectively as a member of a team-oriented environment
- Prioritize and manage time effectively
- Deliver excellent service to every customer that walks through the door, orders online or calls
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling processes
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
