Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service and Sales
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Help customers find the right sizes, styles, and products
- Operate the cash register accurately
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist with merchandising and seasonal floor resets
Buying and Product Evaluation
- Evaluate incoming secondhand items based on condition, safety, brand, and store guidelines
- Determine resale values and calculate purchase offers
- Keep the buying area clean, organized, and efficient
- Follow Winmark’s safety, recall, and quality standards
Sorting and Processing
- Sort incoming clothing by size, quality, and season
- Attach tags to individual items and ensure each tag matches the correct product
- Place items on the appropriate racks or shelves
- Refill shelves and maintain fully stocked sections
- Create backstock bins and organize them by category and season
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of retail experience
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Previous secondhand retail experience is a robust asset
- Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to lift and move bins and other items as required for daily operations
