Bimi Express Market is a small, friendly Japanese takeout shop in downtown Victoria. We are looking for a reliable, positive Part-Time Food Counter & Kitchen Helper to join our team.
Parking is provided, which is a valuable benefit when working in downtown Victoria.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly customer service and operate the cashier/POS system Prepare rice bowls and simple hot food Complete light food preparation Pack sushi and ready-to-go food Restock food and supplies Keep the kitchen and counter clean and organized Assist with general daily opening and closing duties
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual Friendly and comfortable serving customers Able to work efficiently as part of a small team Willing to learn and help with a variety of tasks Food service or customer service experience is an asset, but not required Sushi experience is not required; training will be provided
Students and semi-retired applicants are welcome. We are especially interested in someone seeking a stable, regular part time schedule and hoping to stay with us long-term.
Pay & Benefits
$19–$21 per hour, depending on experience
