Parts Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Lexus of Edmonton in Edmonton, AB. In this position, the Parts Advisor assists guests and service technicians in identifying, sourcing, and ordering the correct parts and accessories for Lexus vehicles. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to parts inquiries in person and by phone, checking inventory, preparing quotes, processing parts orders, and coordinating special or back-ordered items.

Parts Advisors also maintains accurate records, organizes parts storage areas, and ensures parts are correctly labeled and available for scheduled service appointments. The role involves working closely with the service and sales teams to deliver prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable support that enhances the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

- Experience in automotive parts advising or a similar role within a dealership or service environment, with strong knowledge of vehicle components and OEM parts.
- Proficiency with parts catalog systems,



inventory management software, and basic computer applications (e.g., POS systems, MS Office).
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in clear, guest-friendly language.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, including attention to detail when handling orders, invoices, and inventory records.
- Comfort working in a rapid-paced, team-oriented environment, with a collaborative approach to supporting service and sales departments.
- Ability to lift and move parts within reasonable weight limits and follow safe handling practices in the parts department.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or parts-related training or certification is an asset.
- Previous dealership experience, especially with luxury brands, and familiarity with Lexus vehicles is considered an advantage.
