Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care settings. This role is vital in supporting the well-being, independence, and comfort of seniors and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives through attentive and respectful caregiving.

Duties

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
- Support with meal preparation and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a protected environment
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
- Support clients with activities that promote independence and social engagement
- Follow care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia or memory care when applicable

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred




- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and caregiving tasks
- Must be reliable, patient, and respectful of clients’ dignity and privacy
- Ability to perform light physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility support
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some roles may require evening or weekend availability

Pay: $19.22-$23.00 per hour
