THIS POSITION IS FOR A PART TIME PHARMACIST. THE PHARMACIST THAT IS HIRED WILL WORK EVERY THIRD WEEKEND. SATURDAY - 9-6 AND SUNDAY 11-5. THERE IS NO ASSISTANT AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS. SCRIPT COUNTS TEND TO BE LOW ON WEEKENDS AND VERY MANAGEABLE. MUST KNOW HOW TO USE KROLL. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTRA HOURS WHEN THE FULLTIME PHARMACISTS ARE OFF. THIS CAN BE DISCUSSED FURTHER.

Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Valid pharmacist license in positive standing
- Must know how to use Kroll (regular, not paperless)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
