- Plainsview Drugstore Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to grow into full-time for the right candidate.
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and dispensing
- Manage patient intake, profile updates, and insurance adjudication
- Handle inventory, ordering, and stock management
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at the counter
- Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflow
Requirements
- 1–2 years of pharmacy assistant experience (retail/community pharmacy preferred)
- Familiarity with Fillware pharmacy software
- Strong understanding of common pharmacy procedures and workflows
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for flexible/part-time hours, with potential to move to full-time
