We are a modern Italian restaurant serving innovative Italian cuisine in uptown. The restaurant seats around 70 people, providing afternoon tea, lunch, dinner, private dining and takeaway service. We are looking for a pasta/pizza cook to join our BOH team.

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces
- Support food service by plating dishes efficiently and ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and best practices to prevent contamination and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience in a lively restaurant setting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Experience with meal preparation involving pizza making and pasta cooking is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards customer service and collaboration
- Prior experience in serving guests or supporting food service operations is a plus
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic culinary techniques is preferred
