Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers’ locations.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly with customers upon arrival, confirming orders and addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading orders, ensuring food safety and presentation standards are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow company protocols for safe driving, secure delivery procedures, and customer interactions.
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle concerns promptly to management for resolution.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout shifts; physical stamina is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Prior experience in moving or warehouse environments is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting or forklift operation.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools; familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
