Lead branch accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, review and approval of financial statements, and ensuring proper internal controls.
Perform local tax accounting and reporting, ensuring all tax-related requirements are met. Complete corporate reporting requirements, both ongoing and ad hoc. Maintain financial compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, including US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
Ensure the accuracy of financial data and support internal and external audits. Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Professional designation (CPA, CMA) is preferred. ~5+ years of finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred). ~ Solid understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP ~ Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) ~ Up to 5% (Local/Regional) In addition, we offer Great benefits including prescription, dental, optical, a company sponsored registered pension plan, optional RRSP, and more!
