Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our agile construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing to the successful completion of diverse building initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and renovation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete tasks safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling construction materials and operating heavy machinery or power tools




- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with building codes and regulations

Requirements

- Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within commercial or residential settings
- Certified and registered with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in carpentry, HVAC systems, and blueprint reading
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and read schematics accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical diagrams
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, or in confined spaces over extended periods
- Construction experience with familiarity in assembly processes and schematics interpretation
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of safety standards related to plumbing work and construction sites

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
